What a day at Celtic Park!
After a spectacular goal from Kilmarnock in the 33rd minute off the toe of Souleymane Coulibaly, Moussa Dembele immediately scored two goals in three minutes(35th minute, 38th) as Celtic would pull away for a 6-1 win in Ladbrokes’ Scottish Premiership League play.
James Forrest, Leigh Griffiths, Scott Sinclair and Tomas Rogic would add goals for the Hoops.
Coming off a 2-2 draw with Inverness CT, the Hoops were in need of a victory and were surprised by Coulibaly’s goal that put the visitors ahead.
Forrest would add a goal to make it 3-1 Celtic, followed by a Griffiths’ goal in the 66th minute after replacing Dembele.
Griffiths handed the ball to Sinclair for the penalty shot in the 72nd minute, scoring his sixth goal in six consecutive League matches.
Rogic added another goal in the 86th.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers and The Bhoys have another uphill battle ahead of them in Champions League, a date with Manchester City looms.
