Dahntay Jones suspended for Game 4 of Eastern Conference Finals

Former Grand Rapids Drive player Dahntay Jones, currently of the Cleveland Cavaliers, was suspended by the NBA for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals for making contact with Bismarck Biyombo late in the Toronto Raptors‘ Game 3 win on Saturday night.

Jones, who has said the contact was inadvertent, will sit out Game 4 at Toronto on Monday and be available to return to the series in Game 5 Wednesday night in Cleveland.

Jones, a 6’6 guard/forward out of Duke, averaged 15.7 points and 4.2 rebounds in 43 games with shooting splits of 55/41/85 with the Drive during the 2015-16 NBA D-League season.

He was called up to the Cavaliers on April 13, 2016.
