Moussa Dembele’s late goal gave Celtic a 1-0 win over Rangers to send the Hoops into next month’s Betfred Cup final.
After what many considered to be a boring and uninspired first half of futbol, Celtic returned after the break with the same fury they showed in last month’s 5-1 victory over this same Blues squad.
Dembele silenced the Light Blues fans at Hamden Park in the 87th minute with his goal off a Leigh Griffiths assist. The two strikers have complimented each other very well during their time together on the pitch for boss Brendan Rodgers.
The win sets up a meeting with Aberdeen in the final on November 27 at the national stadium.
