Fans pack ballpark for Whitecaps 5-3 win over Loons

  • Jose Zambrano doubled home a run in the second.
  • Shane Zeile singled to score one in the third.
  • Maddox knocked in two more in the seventh.

Beau Burrows (5-3) earned his fourth win allowing two runs (1 ER) on two hits while striking out five. Gerson Moreno (10 saves) struck out all three Loons in the ninth to earn the save.

The Whitecaps improve to 34-23.
