Loons muck it up but win 6-2

The Great Lakes Loons scored four runs in the eighth inning to beat the West Michigan Whitecaps 6-2 Wednesday night at Fifth Third Ballpark in Comstock Park, MI.

After getting on the boarding the top of the first inning with a home run on the second pitch of the game, the Loons committed five errors throughout the game. The Whitecaps, though, missed their chances to take advantage and found themselves tied 2-2 until the eighth inning when the Loons scored four runs to take the game.

Aden son Verastegui(0-1)gave up the four runs in the eighth and suffered his first loss of the season.
