Supersize it! Big Blue's Ramon Harris joining GR Drive

Ramon Harris is joining the Grand Rapids Drive after being selected from the NBA D-League available player pool.

Harris is a 6-foot-7, 220-pound forward out of University of Kentucky, where he averaged 3.4 points, 1.0 blocks and 2.8 rebounds in 106 games for Coach Poop. See this if you’re confused about “Coach Poop”.

Through his D-League career, Harris has averaged 7.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 190 games. On April 23, 2015, Harris hit 8 three-pointers in Game 1 of the NBA D-League finals against the Santa Cruz Warriors.

After going undrafted in the 2010 NBA Draft, Harris joined the NBA D-League. For three seasons, he played for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants before his acquisition by the Iowa Energy in a trade.

To make room for Harris on the Drive roster, Pat Forsythe has been waived.
