The Grand Rapids Drive lost their third straight game Wednesday night, falling 111-105 to the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
Six Skyforce players scored in double digits just, led by Briante Weber and Ike Nwamu, who scored 18 points each. Former Oakland University grad Keith Benson added 16 pints and 11 rebounds as Sioux Falls (8-2) took advantage of the Drive’s lack of height and size.
Kevin Murphy again showed his ability to score in bunches, leading Grand Rapids (4-6) with 33 points. Ray McCallum showed why he’s still on top of the NBADL prospect list, adding 24 points, five rebounds and seven assists. Zeke Upshaw recorded a season-high 23 points in the loss.
Grand Rapids played with only eight players for the game as Nikola Jovanovic was inactive. Jordan Crawford and Pat Forsythe sat out as coaches’ decision.
