Last Friday, the Grand Rapids Drive and the US Army and US Army Grand Rapids Recruiting Company announced a partnership for the 2016-17 season.
“It’s an honor to form this partnership with the United States Army and we look forward to incorporating its values and initiatives into our game day experience and community efforts,” said Wes Weir, Grand Rapids Drive Senior Vice President of Business Operations.
Coming up this season, the US Army will host a theme night, have a presence at home games and interact with Drive fans at the DeltaPlex Arena. Coaches and players will speak at local West Michigan schools as a part of the partnership, as well.
