For the fifth time this year, the West Michigan Whitecaps have been rained out. Wednesday’s scheduled game between the Whitecaps and Bowling Green Hot Rods has been postponed.
Due to consistent rain in the Bowling Green area, Wednesday’s game will be made up as part of a Thursday doubleheader beginning at 11:35 a.m.
Matt Hall starts for the Whitecaps in the first game, followed by Toller Boardman making a spot-start in the second contest. Both games will be seven-inning shortened games.
After Thursday’s doubleheader, the Whitecaps return to play a four-game series against the Dayton Dragons May 27-30 at Fifth Third Ballpark.
